DCurrency Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-01

DCurrency is an offline-first currency converter for iOS. This policy describes what data the app handles. The short version: nothing personal is collected, stored, or shared.

Data we collect

None. DCurrency does not require an account, does not include analytics SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites. Your selected currencies and last-entered amounts are stored only on your device and never leave it.

Network requests

The app fetches publicly available exchange rates from a Cloudflare Worker we operate at currency-exchange-rates.davidstepanov.com. Each request includes only the standard information that any HTTPS request carries (your IP address, the request URL, and User-Agent). The Worker does not log requests, store identifiers, set cookies, or associate requests with any user account.

Exchange-rate data ultimately comes from Open Exchange Rates . The app never communicates with Open Exchange Rates directly — only the Worker does, on an hourly schedule.

Third-party services

No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are embedded in DCurrency. Apple's standard App Store and TestFlight infrastructure may collect aggregate, anonymous metrics (crash reports, install counts) as described in Apple's own privacy policy.

Children

DCurrency is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
