With a friend, we designed and constructed a new, alternative, and efficient submarine. It was inspired by the way sharks move. I programmed the microcontrollers, object tracking with OpenCV, a genetic algorithm and all other building blocks of the system. We experienced the development of a hardware product in a startup-like environment.
We were the state winner in the German state North Rhine-Westphalia (Jugend Forscht science competition) and we took part in the national finals. Link to our project at the Jugend Forscht website
